A Cardiologist with a Community Approach

Since childhood, I have been involved in Community service. I not only focus on the health of my patients but also on families and the community at large. The goal is not wellness for one, but rather a wellness for all! Healthcare is a right, not a privilege!

I have participated in community events from blood drives, health fairs, free screenings, church talks, Public health talks, Heart disease awareness luncheons, and fashion shows to community exercise campaigns with 5K’s to weekend walks/runs with my patients. I believe in giving back to the communities that I serve!

Dr. Kathryn A. McFarland’s areas of interest include Women and Heart Disease, Health and Wellness solutions, Patient Education and Population Health Management. She conducts several activities and events as well as starting the new “Kingdom Cardiovascular Care and Wellness Center” practice located in Douglasville, GA. She loves to exercise, spend time with her children and read her bible.
