Wellness encompasses nourishment for your spirit as well as for your soul and body. My mother Carole, AKA Ona, was a firm believer in the power of prayer.

She never met a stranger and for many years she wrote prayers and sent them around the world to friends and those she would meet in passing.

Everyone would know one of her prayers was arriving when they would receive a brightly colored envelope in yellow, pink, or neon green!

She was always an encourager and wanted others to know the light of her source which was Jesus.

This space will be filled with prayers she wrote for friends for so many years. May you gain strength, peace, love, and joy from the power of prayers!

In loving memory of Ona.

A Prayer for my Patients

God, I thank you for being Jehovah Rapha our healer, restorer, and mender of not only our bodies but our hearts, mind, spirit, and soul. You don’t do anything halfway.  You are a complete God and Your transformations are permanent. Thank you for healing the patients and saving the patients that will become your sons and daughters through Jesus Christ.

I thank you, Lord, for every stripe on your back that heals all of our hearts, minds, and bodies. Thank you for your wellness and faith to walk in your restored state.  May we remain in the blessing of our transformed healing until we reunite with you and your son Jesus in heaven.

Amen!

February every year is special. As a cardiologist, I would like to spotlight not only Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest episode in the 2023 season for the Buffalo Bills but also encourage the NFL to “unite as one heartbeat” and bring attention to the #1 killer in America for Heart Disease Awareness Month in February 2023…
